3 doors down is like every modern rock band, their singles and a couple of the album tracks are huge, unlike their past album (Seventeen days) this time 3dd spread their ideas on the entire album, making it simple, lacking of these days originality. The only ambition they had was to use their southern Skynard influence on tracks like (Train), (Your Arms Feel Like Home), to name a few, but they continue playing the Creed’s post grunge style. A part of the album goes a little faster than the past one, but still you will listen slow and easy tracks like (It’s The Only One You’ve Got), but what I like about 3dd it’s even if they know they won’t change the music, at least they do a great work writing the same kind of songs we hear since the middle 90’s. It’s not my time follows what is the very own style of 3 doors down, Meanwhile Citizen/soldier and When it’s Over, take you back to the Creed era, they also will try to give you an 80’s souvenir with Runaway, I believe. It’s a nice album if you like to hear a simply and captivating rock with choruses that will make you sing along all day long, then you'll have to add another album to your list. It’s a good album but I think we’re still waiting for the kryptonite’s sequel.
